Robert Owens

Robert Lee Owens, Sr., 65, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2016. He was born on June 26, 1951 in Gaston County, NC to the late Leona Keever and James Clifford Owens, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Clyde and Larry Bell; sisters Mary Maness and Faye Columbia; granddaughter Alexandria Nicole McKinney.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Pat Owens; son Robert Lee Owens, Jr. of York, SC; daughter Rebecca McKinney and husband Greg of York, SC; brothers Jimmy Owens, Jr. and Donnie Owens and wife Brenda all of Gastonia, David Owens of Dallas; grandchildren Cameron, Tanner, Landen, and Weston McKinney and Gracie and Bobby Owens.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm on Monday January 2, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

His funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Chapel of Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev Mike Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
