ROGER GEE

Roger Eugene Gee, 65, passed away on Thursday August 31, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born November 24, 1951 in Spartanburg County, SC to Dave and Dovie Stinnett Dover.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Gay Smith, James Gordon Smith; sister Maxine Clark.

Roger was owner-operator of Piedmont Paving and Edgewood Grill of Bessemer City. He lived to love his son Chad and his grandson Dakota. He loved his corvettes, going to car shows and his dog "Gracie". Roger will be remembered for his thoughtfulness and generosity.

Left to cherish his memories is his son Chad Gee and wife Stephanie of Bessemer City; grandson Dakota Gee; longtime girlfriend Annette Saldo; step-son Nick Saldo and wife Kristi; step-grandson Greyson; brothers, Bobby Smith, Gary "Punk" Smith and wife Pat; sisters, Brenda Carpenter and husband Don, Kay Dobbins, Desi LaCount and husband Roger; many Stinnett cousins; numerous nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services and other times at his home.

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the funeral home with Dr. Gene Ware, Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
