REV.  RONALD  HOLCOMBE



Rev. Ronald Dale "Ronnie" Holcombe, 69, of Kings Mountain, passed away June 25, 2012, at Kings Mountain Hospital.  He was born January 12, 1943 in Gaston County to the late Rev. Odell Holcombe and Mae Abernathy Holcombe.



Rev. Holcombe was formerly a Deacon and Associate Pastor at King James Baptist Church in Bessemer City.  He was presently a member and a Sunday School Teacher at New Beginning Independent Baptist Church.  Rev. Holcombe retired from Wal-Mart in Gastonia.



A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel, Bessemer City, with Dr. Michael Keough and Rev. Dennis Detter officiating.



Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery.



Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-7:30 at the funeral home.



He is survived by his wife Joyce Howell Holcombe; daughters, Wendy Panther and Rebecca Bradley both of Gastonia; grandson, Nicholas Panther.



He was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Panther.
