Ronald Lamar Mixon, 75, of Gastonia, passed away January 6, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born on January 15, 1940 in Cleveland County, to the late Willie Paul and Virginia Martin Mixon.
He was retired from textiles.
Ronald was survived by his children, Sharon Glance and David of Gastonia, Danny Mixon and Pam of Lincolnton, Michael Mixon and Sandy of Albemarle; brothers Johnny, Dennis, and Darrell Mixon; sisters Cherie Crawford and Debbie Smith; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Dugan Mixon.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Michael Mixon officiating.
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, January 11th, 2016 at the funeral home.
