Ruby Pendleton Fraley

Ruby Pendleton Fraley, 76, of Bessemer City, NC joined her Heavenly Father on November 23, 2023. She was a graduate of Bessemer City High School, Gaston College & Sacred Heart College. She retired from the American Red Cross, as the Director of Emergency and Youth Services, where she helped people through her career and personally.

She was preceded in death by her husband Max Garry Fraley and parents, Dolly & John Pendleton.

She is survived by her daughters, Melanie Fraley and Vicki Fraley Thompson, as well as son-in-law Jim Thompson & grandson Max Thompson; nephews Steve Dover (Barbara) & family, Jeff Dover (Patty) & family, Charles “Buddy” Fraley (Barbara) & family, and Rick Richard (Jean) & family, who will forever cherish her love and kindness.

A graveside service to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Brad Jones officiating.
