Sandra Wells Wise, age 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born in Gaston County on July 4, 1944 to the late William "Dub" and Polly Blanton Wells.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Linda Mae Wells, sister, Brenda Peeler.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 24 years, Tim Wise; daughter, Mandy Hardwick and husband Michael of Vail AZ; son Kerry Bridges and wife Leigh Ann of Lynchburg VA; sister, Judy Bolin and husband Gary of Kings Mountain, brother, Steve Wells and wife Terry of Gastonia; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandra was devoted to her family. Nothing brought her more joy than to spend time with them. She always looked forward to getting together with her siblings and their children. Her home was always a gathering place for family and friends. Sandra loved to travel to spend time with her family that lived in Virginia, Florida, Texas, and Indiana. Beach trips with family and close friends was also a favorite time for her It was the simple things that brought her so much happiness- sitting on the porch with a loved one and reminiscing over a cup of coffee was a blessing she truly enjoyed; a late-night phone call with her sister was something she always looked forward to and valued. As her health deteriorated getting FaceTime with her grandkids and great grandkids was her biggest joy. Her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren will always be grateful for her love for her family. She will be missed by all
A Celebration of Sandra's life will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday April 15, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Pastor Jerry Millwood and Pastor Dennis Wells officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 prior to her service at the funeral home.
A private interment will take place in the Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff Robin Johnson for their love and support during this difficult time.
