Sara Lemley

Sara Riddle Lemley, 63, passed away on Monday October 3, 2016 at home. She was born on June 26, 1953 in Lee County Alabama, to late John Lamar, Sr. and Kathrine Kitrell Riddle.

Sara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved her entire family dearly. She was retired from Pharr Yarns.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Lemley; brothers, Roy Riddle and John Lamar Jr.; sister, Mary Alice Brock.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Misty Ware and fiancé Michael Walls Sr. of Bessemer City, her son, Daniel Lemley and partner Daniel Fullove of Bessemer City; brother, Thomas Riddle and wife Debbie of Bessemer City; sisters, Judy Mincey of Bessemer City, Linda Dorsey and husband James of Gastonia, Martha Dorsey and husband Leonard of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Austin Ware, Kelsey Lemley, Autumn Dennis, Kora Lemley, Michael Walls Jr, Aaron Walls; great-granddaughter, Riley Ware.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 7, 2016 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Pastor Patsy Jenkins officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
