Shirley Marlene Browning

Shirley Marlene Browning, 63, of Gastonia, passed away at Caromont Regional on March 9, 2024. She was born August 28, 1960, in Haywood County, to the late Andrew Jackson Browning and Nancy Davis Browning. 

She is preceded in death by brother, Frank Browning; niece, Amanda Teseniar; brother-in-law, Jimmy Rhodes

Shirley enjoyed going out and spending time with her family.  She was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals football team. She was a loving mother and she will be greatly missed. 

Left to cherish her memory is sons, Michael Rainey; daughter, Kasey Petty; brother, Jerry Browning (Pamela); sisters, Pamela Rhodes, Andrea Payne; along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Shirley’s Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to St. Jude’s.
