SPENCER LEGAULT

Spencer "Sid" LeGault ,70, of Lincolnton, passed away November 18, 2013 at Sherrill's Ford Hospice House , Sherrill's Ford, NC . He was born on January 21, 1943 in Spring Valley, California to the late Merle Frances Jaynes.

Spencer served the United States Navy and was a retired welder from U.S. Air. One of Spencer's favorite hobbies was building and flying radio-controlled airplanes. He was also an avid amateur ham radio enthusiast.

Spencer is survived by his fiancé Vickie Carroll of the home, son, Stephen Spencer LeGault; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Jones and husband David of Clermont, Fla., Paulette Stone and Arron Smith of Bessemer City, Lesia Atkins and Huey Norris of Orlando, Fla. nieces, Crystal York of Tennessee, Amanda Webb and Thomas Smith of Bessemer City, nephew Tony York of Tennessee; his faithful Pomeranian Rudy.

His family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 PM Saturday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City, NC.

His funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Bart Stone officiating.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Lincolnton N.C.
