Stella Locklear

Stella Basden Locklear, 59, of Charlotte passed away May 26, 2013 at Fairview Park Hospital, Dublin, Ga. She was born on June 9, 1953 to the late James and Lillian Faye Kirby Burnette.

Stella was a charter member of Jesus Christ Full Gospel Church, Charlotte and was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Harry and Eddie Basden.

She is survived by her sons, James Locklear, Jr. and wife Kathy and Clifford Wayne Locklear both of Charlotte; daughter Rhonda Rena Locklear of Charlotte; sisters Charlene Miller and husband Perry of Rock Hill, SC and Nellie Goins and husband Doug of Louisville, KY; family friend Ike Flynn; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at Jesus Christ Full Gospel with Rev. Michael Hedgecoe and the Brotherhood of Ministers officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, Charlotte.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm Friday at the church.
