Sue Murphy

Sue C. Murphy, 76, of Kings Mountain, passed away at Atrium Health Shelby on June 24, 2022. She was born June 11, 1946, in Cleveland County, to the late Franklin Howard Morrow and Nola Victoria Smith Morrow.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband B.G. Murphy, Jr. and son B.G. “Buddy” Murphy, III.

Left to cherish her memories are numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-laws.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Sue’s graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday June 27, 2022, at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cleveland County Hospice 951 Wendover Heights Drive Shelby, NC 28150.
