Thomas Johnson

Thomas Lee Johnson, Jr., (TJ), 45, went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 23, 1968 in Kings Mountain, North Carolina to Judy Surratt Johnson and the late Thomas Lee Johnson, Sr.

Thomas is preceded by his father Thomas Lee Johnson, Sr., his grandparents: Andrew and Ethel Mae Adams Johnson, and Elijah and Irene Adams Surratt.

He is survived by his son, Justin Johnson; his daughter, Jessica Johnson; his mother Judy Surratt Johnson and husband Tom Johnson; his sisters, Clarissa Lynette Johnson; Deanna Lovelle Johnson Wagner; his brothers, Reginald Lewis Johnson; Timothy Johnson and Cedric Johnson; many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-law.

Thomas graduated from Hunter Huss High School in 1986 and worked for Automatic Transmission Shop until he became disabled. He enjoyed woodworking, basketball, football, fishing and playing video games with his children and nephews.

His funeral will be held at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel at 2:00 pm, Friday with Rev. Jessie McClain officiating. Quiet time will be 30 minutes before service.
