Thurmond Hicks

Thurmond Aaron Hicks, Sr., 77, passed away on Friday October 12, 2018 at Caromont Regional medical Center. He was born March 25, 1941 in Greenville County, South Carolina to the late Tesser Leroy and Lois Gaites Hicks.

Aaron was preceded in death by his brother, Leland Hicks and his sisters, Betty Smyre and Frances Martin

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda Grice Hicks; his son, Aaron Hicks, Jr. and wife Michelle; his daughter, Tonya Gamaras; grandchildren, Brittney, Blair, Christian, Colby, Landon, and Jake; great-grandchildren, Jude and Sadie; brother, Eric Hicks and wife Judy, brother, Buddy Hicks; sister-in-law, Carol Hicks.

Aaron was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a volunteer member of Mended Hearts at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Belmont Foursquare Church.

A Celebration of Aaron's life will be held at 3pm Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Pastor Kevin Ford and Pastor Robert Rosales officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens.

His family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
