Tommy Hall, Sr.

Tommy Eugene Hall, Sr., 65, of Kings Mountain, passed away at Testa Hospice House on August 5, 2021. He was born August 29, 1955, in Gaston County to the late Stanley David and Elsie Lee Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy “Boots” Day; brother, Jerry D Hall, Sr.; sister-in-law JoAnn Jenkins Hall; brother-in-law Thurman Henry Jenkins, Jr.

Tommy had a passion for what he called “being out on the field with construction.” He loved his work and never met a stranger. In 1991, he started Hall Builders, Inc. He also worked for Earl Tindol Ford for 22 years. Tommy loved God and his family with all of his heart. He proved that love in many ways, including his contributions to his family, his friends and community. He was a man of God and touched many people’s lives. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, of 37 years, Tina Hall; children, Tonya Hall Crawford (Mark), and Tommy E. Hall, Jr. (Laura); grandchildren, Landry Crawford, Zachary Crawford, Trey Crawford, Kaitlyn Haskins, Haley Hall, Tommy E. Hall, III, and Ella Bridges; great grandchild, Kensley Williams; sisters, Jackie Hall Jenkins and Sunshine Hall Long; brothers, Edward Hall (Pam), Stanley D Hall, Jr. (Patty), and Ricky Hall; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

Tommy’s funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain with Bro. Chip Sloan, Sis. Jackie Hall Jenkins, and Chaplain David Hall, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
