Troy Summey

Troy Eugene Summey 59, of Kings Mountain, passed away March 4, 2013 at home. He was born December 25, 1953 in Gaston County, to the late Charlie Wesley Summey, Sr. and Martha M. Spearman Summey.

Troy was an avid fisherman and he loved his chickens and dogs.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Summey, Jr.; sister, Shirley Peterson

He is survived by his son, John Summey; daughter, Kellie Summey; brothers, Artie Summey and wife Ruth, Ronald Summey and wife Debra; sisters, Sara McKinnish, Brenda Deason and husband Luther; grandchildren, Harley Danielle Summey, Angel Summey.

His memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday at Westview Baptist Church, Gastonia with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-600 pm Friday at the church.
