Veronica Michelle King, 43, passed away August 18, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.  She was born March 10, 1969, in Gaston County to Patsy Clanton Lail of Gastonia and the late Boyd King.



Michelle was rescued from this hard world of life on August 18, 2012 by her Lord Jesus Christ and was transferred to her home with her Lord and all her loved ones who had gone on before. She atteneded Christian Heritage Worship Center. Michelle was a fun loving person on the outside.   She considered all her cousins as brothers and sisters and she loved them all. Her heart belonged to Jacob, Neely, Arianna and Elaina of whom she was so proud.  The family wishes to thank all those who prayed for Michelle and undergirded them during their time of sorrow.



She is survived by her daughter, Neely Hill  and husband Daniel of Bessemer City; son, Jacob King of Gastonia; parents, Patsy and Tom Lail of Gastonia; step-sister, Angie Bolin of Bessemer City; special aunts and uncles, Billy and Jenny Clanton, Doc. Laura Steedly, Kay Skumanick; special cousins, Bertha and Doris Smith; step-mother, Judith King



She is preceded in death by her, grandparents, Ruby and Buck King, Loyd and Oveda  Lail;  Mabel Clanton Smart;  Rufus Smart;  Bill Clanton; special uncle Tommy Skumanick



Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City with Rev. Roger Overton  and Rev. Susan Trabue officiating.



Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.



Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
