Vickie Grigg

Vickie Hager Grigg, 67, of Bessemer City, passed away on June 18, 2014 at home. She was born October 6, 1946 in Gaston County to the late David Lloyd and Mary Elizabeth Surratt Hager.

Vickie was a graduate of Bessemer City High School and was a member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church, Bessemer City. She was employed with CVS for over 10 years and was also a cashier with Walmart for 6 years.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Grigg and wife Karen of Bessemer City, John Hargis and wife Stacey of Ohio, Johnny Grigg and wife Patsy of Bessemer City; daughter, Louise Howell and husband John of Bessemer City, daughter-in-law Debbie Grigg of Akin, SC; sister Debbie Hager of Bessemer City;13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Floyd Edwin Grigg, Jr, son Eddie Ray Grigg; grandson Shane Grigg.

Her funeral service will be Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 11:00 am at Sunset Lane Baptist Church with Rev. Dick Hannah officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
