Vickie Ann Stewart Kline, 71, passed away on Thursday February 9, 2017 at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando, Florida. She was born on May 25, 1945 in Gastonia, NC to the late William Junior and Kathleen Wells Stewart.
Vickie was a loving wife, mother, and grandma. She loved her family dearly. She lived, raised her family, and was a successful real estate agent for more than 30 years in South Florida. She loved playing golf with her husband Don and outplaying him by getting two holes in one. She enjoyed "planning" the landscaping, with Don doing the landscape "planting." She also had a passion for home décor and shopping for anything and everything. She most enjoyed spending holidays with her family by cooking and making sure that everything was perfect for them. Some of her most exciting moments were road trips and exploring unique places with her husband.
Vickie was a strong woman and dedicated mom, as evidenced by defeating cancer several times, while keeping a positive attitude. Even in the worst of times, she constantly put others first and never complained. There is no way to measure the impact she had on the lives of her loved ones she left behind.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of nearly 15 years, Don Kline; her daughters, Joy Garcia, Hope Goldberg, and Becky Copeland and husband Josh; grandchildren, Jillian and Anna; her sisters, Cathey and Paula; and her brothers, Richard and Gary.
Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
A Celebration of Vickie's life will be held at 2 pm Friday, February 17, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Reverend Dennis Wells officiating.
Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
