Vinson Brown

Vinson Russell "Buster" Brown, 85, of Gastonia passed away on May 3, 2014 Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born December 25, 1928 in Graham County to the late Mack Welch and Stella Brown.

Buster served in the United States Marines during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert Robinson, Robert Robinson, Roy Robinson, Alvis Robinson, George "Hon" Robinson, Ensley Robinson; sister, Thelma Childers.

He is survived by his brothers, Doug Robinson, Bill Robinson, Dick Robinson and Larry Robinson all of Gastonia; sisters Edith Hannah of Boiling Springs, SC, Susie Kilby of Waynesville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

Burial will be at a later date.
