Virginia Paysour

Virginia Brewer Paysour, 93, of Dallas passed away on January 26, 2014 at Peak Resources, Gastonia. She was born May 31, 1920 in Lincoln County, NC, to the late
James Ellis and Ellen Victoria Auten Brewer.

Virginia was married to Ralph W. Paysour in 1939 and became a faithful member of Antioch Evangelical Lutheran Church. They owned and operated Paysour's Clothing Store in Dallas for over 30 years.

She is survived by her son Lawrence Paysour and wife Rita; daughter, Vickie King and husband Charles; brothers, Bill Brewer, Ben Brewer and wife Lynn, Adrian Brewer, Jack Brewer and wife Nancy; sisters, Molly Spivey, Betty Woody; grandchildren, Donna Paysour, Chris Paysour, Derek Greene, Jeramie King, Jason King; great-grandchildren, Rachel Greene, Ty King, Emily King, Ashley Philbeck, Matthew Hutchinson, Madison King; great-great-grandchildren, Abigail Philbeck, Corbyn Philbeck.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Paysour; granddaughter, Tammy Paysour ; sisters, Lula Summey, Bryte Hurst, Hazel Black, Mary Weathers, Addie Ballard; brothers, Paul Brewer, JD Brewer.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Antioch Lutheran Church, Dallas with Pastor George Rhyne officiating.

Interment will follow in Antioch Lutheran Church Garden of Peace Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
