Wesley Croft

Wesley Alfred Croft, 50, passed away at home on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born July 21, 1970 in Gaston County to Alfred Jerry Croft, Jr., and the late Pearl Cook Croft.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Otis and Novella Cook, Alfred Jerry Croft, Sr. and Bessie Bell Croft, Kermit Hutchins, Sr., and Margie Hutchins.

Wesley was a Member of City Church (Bethlehem Church), Gastonia, volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse for 18 years and Family Promise Ministry; he was a member of the Men’s Fraternity where he received his sword, helmet, and shield after 3 years of Bible Study.

Left to cherish his memories are his dad and bonus mom Alfred and Gail Croft of Ellenboro; brother Rodney Croft and wife Jamie Ann of Kings Mountain; niece Riley Croft; Aunts Mary Ruth Wright (James), Ella Barker (Jeff), and Christine Williams (Jerry); cousin Myra Hester; and his fur buddy, Buddy.

Wesley’s graveside service will be held 4:00 PM at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery, on Magnolia St. in the cemetery, with Pastor Dale Lawing officiating.
