BILL  CAMPBELL

William Herman "Bill" Campbell, 74, of Bessemer City, passed away on February 19, 2013, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.  He was born May 15, 1938 in Gaston County, to the late George Russell and Stella Brogdon Campbell.

Bill served in the United States Army with the 57th Military Police Company, West Point Academy. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Stinnett Campbell, son, Phillip Dean Campbell and wife Vickie of Cherryville; sister, Muriel Campbell Cline and husband H.L. Cline of Gastonia; grandchildren, Matthew Allen Campbell and Emily Faith Campbell of Cherryville.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City with Rev. Tom Ravan officiating.

The family will receive friends 10:00-1100 am Saturday at the funeral home.
