William Mauney

William Ray Mauney, 66, of Gastonia, passed away at Robin Johnson House on June 13, 2022. He was born November 5, 1955, in Silver Springs, Maryland to the late Tennie Rose Walters Emmett.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Michael Walters; sisters, Annette Yuhas (Edward), Susan Robinson; son, “Billy” William Ray Mauney, Jr.; daughter, Catherine Hallman; 5 granddaughters; 2 great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to friends Michael Thomas and Jerome Camp, for all their support during William’s illness.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

William’s memorial service will be held 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Ed Yuhas and Pastor Stuart Lewis officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Walters Family Section of Long Creek Cemetery, Dallas.
