WILLIAM T. MOSES

William Thomas "Toad" Moses, 80, of Bessemer City passed away on December 9, 2013. He was born March 16, 1933 in Gaston County, NC, to the late John Thomas and Estelle Moses Moses.

Toad was a farmer at heart and loved his garden. He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Freida Lankford Moses; sisters, Bonnie Demory and husband Don of Culpepper, VA, Ollie Mae Toney of Kings Mountain, Mary Ross of Bessemer City; half-sister, Ethel Jackson of Lincoln County; half-brother, Wade Warren Cline and wife Judy of Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Moses, Cecil Moses; half-brother, Junior Moses; half-sister, Ruth Sawyer.

His funeral services will be held at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel at 3:00 PM on Friday with Rev. Kitty Rankin officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

His family will receive friends one hour before the funeral service.
